Wireless connector giving a machine or cabinet wireless access via Bluetooth® or Wireless LAN (WLAN)

Anybus Wireless Bolt enables you to connect industrial devices to a wireless network. It is attached onto a cabinet or a machine to enable wireless access. Wireless transmission is made via Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy or WLAN technology.

The Wireless Bolt is IP67-rated and has a max range of 100 meters. It can communicate with devices using Ethernet, Serial (RS232/485) or CAN. Regardless of communication method, you have the same connector (2x9p;3,5 Plug Connector) for both power and communication.

Point-to-point cable replacement

Anybus Wireless Solutions are used as an Industrial Ethernet cable replacement. Ideal when industrial cables as not desirable - ideal for harsh industrial environments. 

  • Use as a point-point cable replacement for Industrial Ethernet protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP) 

Multipoint wireless access

Anybus Wireless Bridge can act as an access point connecting up to 7 different clients. Both Anybus Wireless Bridge and Wireless Bolt can also act as clients.

Configure a machine wirelessly

Anybus Wireless Bolt can enable you to configure any machine via a wireless network. You can access your machine over Ethernet. (Serial RS232/485 or CAN interface from Q3 2017).

From here you can configure the machine or maybe create your own self diagnostics app, in order to to reduce machine downtime.
